Ward was born in MonroeLouisiana on 14 April1976. She was a student at an exclusive Christian elementary school known as Monroe Christian School. For secondary educationWard went to Ouachita Parish High School. She later relocated in River Oaks High School on the last day of her senior year. There she was part of the dance and drill teams. Following her graduation she briefly attended Northeast Louisiana University. Ward left her high school when she was 13 and started modeling. She tried her hand at acting several years later. At first, in the 1970s she played an uncredited character in the show All My Children. A couple of years later, she was a part of the NBC primetime teen drama Malibu Shores. Then, in the fall of 1996, Ward was cast in the role of Meg Cummings on Sunset Beach. She began her film career as Brittany Foster the psychotic character in the horror film The In Crowd. It failed to make a profit in theatres, but it did find some commercial success with home-video and cable. Ward made a cameo appearance on Shallow Hal - a smash success the next year. Her other acting credits include several direct-to DVD films as well as guest roles in TV shows, including Friends. In 2009she was cast in the role of Chloe Kmet kothe mother of one of the gymnas in the ABC Family drama series Make It or Break It as a member of the main cast in the series' first two seasons. She was married to David C. Robinson, the producer. The couple had a son named Cameron.
